The Civil Records Department handles the filing of all Civil Law Suits such as Divorces, Damages, Garnishments, Executory Process, etc. This department also handles the filing of Adoptions (which are not public record).

Jury Bonds
Important Requirements:
  • Order must be filed in record requesting Trial by Jury
  • Cash bond is due 60 days prior to trial date
  • There are 100 people per panel - Attorney must verify how many panels needed
  • The amount of the bond is set by order of the Court
  • All Jury subpoenas are issued by mail; if service is needed costs are substantially more
